GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE AND USE - GTC - GCU
Prior information
These general terms and conditions of sale are intended for the exclusive use of booking stays in guest rooms at La Grange Aux Moines. The customer and the owners agree to comply with these general terms and conditions of sale as soon as the booking is confirmed.
Article 1 - Length of stay
The booking by the customer is made for a fixed period. The customer may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain on the premises without the prior agreement of the owner.
The minimum length of stay is 2 nights. The owner may reserve the right to modify these.
Article 2 - Reservation and deposit
The reservation is made on the official website of La Grange Aux Moines, by email, by telephone directly with the owners or through one of the booking sites that offer our guest rooms.
The reservation is considered confirmed only after payment of a deposit which will be cashed upon receipt. It will be deducted from the total invoice. The deposit must be paid no later than 48 hours from the date of the reservation request, either by transfer or directly on our site. The amount of the deposit is 50% of the total price of the stay.
Article 3 – Cancellation by the customer
Any cancellation of a stay booked directly with the guest house must be notified by email to [email protected].
If the cancellation occurs more than 7 days before the start of the stay, the deposit will be returned to the customer.
If the cancellation occurs less than 7 days before the start of the stay, the deposit remains acquired by the owners who reserve the right to claim the balance of the reservation price.
If the customer does not show up before 8 p.m. on the scheduled start date of the stay, this contract is canceled and the owners reserve the right to dispose of the guest rooms. The deposit remains with the owners who reserve the right to claim the balance of the reservation price.
In the event of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the cost of the accommodation remains entirely with the owner. Any additional services consumed will be due to the owner.

Article 4 – Cancellation by the owner
When, before the start of the stay, the owner cancels the reservation, for reasons beyond their control, they must inform the customer as soon as possible by telephone or email. The customer will be immediately reimbursed for the full amount of the deposit paid.
Article 5 – No withdrawal
For reservations made directly with the guest house, the tenant does not benefit from the withdrawal period and this in accordance with article L121-20-4 of the consumer code relating in particular to accommodation services provided on a specific date or at a specific frequency.
Article 6 - Arrival time
The customer must arrive on the day specified in the reservation between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. In the event of a late or delayed arrival, the customer must notify the owner preferably by telephone.
We do not accept arrivals after 9 p.m. between October 1 and April 30, after 10 p.m. between May 1 and September 30 and the owner reserves the right to no longer accommodate the customer after these times. This refusal can in no case be considered as a modification or termination of the contract at the initiative of the owner, so that no refund can be considered.
Article 7 – Departure time
The customer must vacate the rooms by 11am at the latest. If the customer wishes to postpone their departure time beyond this time, they must make a request to the owner, who reserves the right to refuse. If possible, the request will be accepted with pleasure.
Article 8 – Payment of the balance
The balance of the accommodation must be paid at the latest upon arrival at the owner's home.
Consumption and additional services must be paid at the end of the stay to the owner.
Article 9 – Tourist tax
In addition to the price of the stay, there is a tourist tax collected by the host on behalf of the Tours Urban Community, which sets the amount. It is due per night and per adult.
Article 10 – Capacity
This contract is established for a specific number of people. If the number of customers exceeds the number of people specified when booking, the owner is able to refuse additional customers.
This refusal cannot in any case be considered as a modification or a termination of the contract at the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of the departure of a number of customers greater than those refused, no reimbursement can be considered.
Article 11 – Breakfasts
A vegan continental breakfast is included in the room rate
In case of food intolerance or special diet, the guest must notify the owner when booking the accommodation.
Breakfasts are served between 8:30 am and 10 am in the dining room or in the garden. For tenants of the Feuille d'Or room, it can be served in the room.
Article 12 – Table d’hôtes
The establishment does not offer a table d’hôtes.
Article 13 – Children
No reservations can be made by a minor. Guests' attention is drawn to the fact that minors on the property are placed under the sole and entire responsibility of their parents or persons having authority over them.
Article 14 – Animals
With the exception of assistance animals, animals are not allowed at La Grange Aux Moines. If on the day of arrival, the customer arrives accompanied by one or more animals, the refusal to accept the animals cannot be considered as a modification or termination of the contract at the initiative of the owner. In the event of the customer's departure, no refund can be considered.
Article 15 - Use of the premises
The customer must respect the peaceful nature of the premises and use them in accordance with their intended purpose, i.e. a guest house focused on plants and well-being.
The guest house La Grange Aux Moines is intended to accommodate a diversity of travelers, with different sensitivities and habits. Guests are requested to respect this diversity, in a kind manner. The owner reserves the right to terminate any stay that would jeopardize the emotional or physical safety of the guests, without any refund being considered.
No meals may be taken or served in the rooms or around the swimming pool, with the exception of the Feuille d'Or room. Drinks or drinks must not be taken into the pool area. Picnics are allowed in the garden, in the barn, and in the kitchen made available to travelers.
Please respect the tranquility of the place by avoiding any noise pollution in the rooms, and the indoor and outdoor common areas.
Guests are invited to remove their shoes inside the house. The consumption of substances (alcohol, tobacco, etc.) in the guest house is strictly prohibited. The owner reserves the right to refuse the continuation of any stay that does not meet this requirement. This refusal can in no case be considered as a modification or termination of the contract at the initiative of the owner, so that no refund can be considered.
The customer agrees to respect the etiquette instructions appearing in the guest house and in these general conditions of sale. The customer agrees to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay. The customer must declare and assume financial responsibility for any possible damage for which he may be responsible.
Article 16 – Use of the private swimming pool
The swimming pool is freely accessible to customers from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., unless otherwise advised, or in the event of a closed shutter or the presence of a robot in the pool. Its use is subject to the responsibility of each person, and the roller shutter allowing its closure does not replace the precautions to be taken.
Customers acknowledge that they fully release the owner from liability in the event of an accident occurring to themselves, their family or their friends. In the event of an accident, no compensation can or will be claimed by the booker(s). For safety and peace reasons, it is strictly forbidden to dive and run around the pool and to bring glass objects nearby.
We ask you not to use the towels from the rooms for the pool. Bath towels are available on request.
Article 17 – Housekeeping and maintenance
Housekeeping or maintenance is carried out upon departure of the tenants, in the room(s) that the client occupies, except in the event of an incident. In the case of extended stays, the owner may, upon request of the client, do the cleaning and change the bathroom linen every 5 days.
In order to limit the impact on the planet, clients are invited to limit the use of linen to that which is strictly necessary. Recyclable waste may be thrown directly into the yellow bin outside, and household waste into the black bin outside.
Article 18 - Insurance and responsibilities
Each room has a key. La Grange Aux Moines cannot be held responsible in the event of theft or loss of property or objects. The customer must ensure the safekeeping of his property and equipment.
The customer must inform the establishment of any damage caused by him. He is responsible for all damage caused by his intermediary and undertakes, in the event of damage to the premises made available (room, outdoor furniture, common areas such as swimming pool, garden, dining room) to have insurance covering the costs of restoration or, failing that, to assume the cost.
Article 19 - Application
These general terms and conditions of sale may be modified at any time without notice. Acceptance and compliance with these general terms and conditions of sale are deemed acquired upon payment of the deposit for reservation.
